With the Twitter Connector you can send tweets of your latest products and news to Twitter, promoting more efficient your business. The tweet includes the title and optionally the description (short or full if short doesn't exist) of the products or news and a link to the newly published content.

The included link will be shortened using popular URL shortening services (such as TinyURL and bit.ly) and the text will be truncated to 140 characters (if longer) to be accepted by Twitter. (Tweets over 140 characters will be rejected by Twitter.)

Deal of the day with Alerts for Cs-Cart is completely automated mod that will make offers to your customers and inform them by email about the daily deals. When a product is identified as the current date, it will have a new price that it offers and will apper in the Deal of the day block and the subscribed customers will be informed. It will display the product that is discounted today (for the selected period) with it's thumbnail image, name, regular price and discounted price in a standard CS-Cart design. After clicking on either the image or name the customer will be redirected to the product details page. The Deal of the day block also displays a clock that will count down the days and time that is left for the promotion, a 24 hours clock and would go from 24.00 to 0.00.

Note: Cron job is required to be installed on your server for this addon package.

Features:

• The module will display all products discounted by the "Deal of the day" promotion condition in the mentioned block. The content of the block will be the same on all pages.
• The products can be assigned to a date or date range.
• The block is designed so that whatever deal is active that day will be displayed in the box. If multiple deals are set up for that date, them all will be displayed. The number of products in one promotion is not limited.
• The clock will countdown in reference to server settings
• Customers can subscribe to be infomed about the deals, an email will be sent to all subscribers when a product is displayed in the Deal of the day block
• The email will contain the product(s) with it's name, regular price and discounted price. After clicking on the name the customer will be redirected to the product details page.
• Admin can manage the subscribers, import contacts from orders, users and mailing lists, delete subscribers.

How it Works:

A customer is browsing your store and comes across a product that want, but it appears to be out of stock. If the Product Quantity is "0" the button "Notify me when available" will be displayed on the Product details page (and optionally on the Product categories list, Search results pages - you have the ability to enable or disable on the admin panel) and the „Add to cart” button will be hidden.

If the customer clicks on the "Notify me when available" button a drop down form will appear where the email address can be entered and he/she can send the request. Registration not required!
If the customer is logged the email field will be completed automatically.

Admin can track the requests under Orders/View Back in stock requests. The page will show the request ID, the request date, customer 's email, requested product (linked to the product page) and status to whether a stock update notification has been sent to the user or not.
Admin also can delete individual or all requests.

Once the product quantity is updated an email will be sent automatically to the customer informing that the product is back in stock again and available for purchase. The email includes the request date, the product title and "View details" with a link to the product page. Detailed installation instructions included!
